After a successful career in Information Technology spanning over a decade, Monique realized that she was well-paid, successful by the world's standards, and living a comfortable existence; however, she did not have a passion for the work that she was doing and the life that she was living!  So after targeted, self-reflection and  a few personal losses-- my older sister, a divorce after an 8 year relationship, and her mother, Monique set out on a journey of self-discovery!  In doing so, she realized that helping and serving others is her calling and that in order to be fulfilled and joyous that she must live her passion! Through Monique's transformation, she has been blessed with a new husband who is her "best friend and rock", a phenomenal network of friends, and a solid family who has supported and cheered for her along the way!  Monique is now taking her many "lessons-learned" and is encouraging others to set out on a similar journey, to discover their passion, and to re-invent the life that they desire and deserve!   In addition to career professionals, Monique's intention is to share her story with young adults so that  they are able to "Take the Road Less Travelled" from the beginning, to discover their skills and passion before embarking on an educational and career journey that does not compliment their gifts. Monique is a Certified Professional Life Coach and Human Relations Specialist with over 10 years of experience in one-on-one career coaching, Workshop Development, Training, Resume and Cover Letter Writing, and Interveiw Preparation.   She is a native of Grambling, LA and holds a B.A. in Applied Mathematics and Statistics from Grambling State University.
